Cookie Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

This policy explains which cookies the Tax.md website uses, why we use them and how you can manage your choice. It complements the Sage-M Group SRL Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Some are essential for the website to work, others help us understand how it is used. When a cookie allows a person to be identified, its use is personal data processing and complies with Law No. 195/2024.

2. Cookie categories and legal basis

Strictly necessary. Keep the website working, secure the forms and remember your cookie choice. They cannot be switched off on the website. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

The website currently uses strictly necessary cookies only. We do not use advertising, profiling or analytics cookies, and we do not load third-party content that sets cookies. Fonts are hosted on our own server.

3. List of cookies

Cookie Category Provider Duration Purpose
taxmd-session Strictly necessary Tax.md 120 minutes Keeps your browsing session and form data between requests.
XSRF-TOKEN Strictly necessary Tax.md 120 minutes Protects forms against CSRF attacks.
taxmd_cookie_consent Strictly necessary Tax.md 180 days Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask on every visit.
remember_web_* Strictly necessary Tax.md 400 days Keeps you signed in to the admin panel. Used only for administrators who tick “Remember me”.

4. How to manage your choice

  • On your first visit we show a banner with “Accept all”, “Reject” and “Customise” options. You can change your choice at any time from the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page. Strictly necessary cookies stay active because the website cannot work without them.
  • You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the forms from working.
