When you fill in your annual personal income tax return (CET18), you can take part in managing public money by directing 2% of your income tax to non-profit or religious organisations from the list of beneficiaries published at https://www.asp.gov.md/ro/informatii-utile/lista-beneficiarilor-desemnarii-procentuale
Resident individuals who are officially employed and have no debts to the budget can file the return at any branch of the State Tax Service, regardless of their place of residence or registration, until 3 May 2022, with just their identity card.
Lawyers, notaries, bailiffs and mediators can also direct 2% to NGOs through the DAJ 17 return (Annex 3D), which must be filed by 25 March.
This designation is NOT a donation, nor money out of your own pocket. It is 2% of the income tax you have already paid to the state.
All you need to know is the tax code of the organisation (or church) you would like to support.
